The closest MRT stations (in order of shortest walk) are Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, City Hall and then Fort Canning. If you are arriving via taxi, direct the driver to Fort Canning Green (Canning Rise Rd), the concert space opposite the National Museum of Singapore.
Gates, bar and food stalls open at 5:00pm. We encourage you to arrive early, secure your favourite spot on the grass and enjoy a drink with friends as the sun sets. The feature film will begin at dusk (approximately 7:30pm).

Yes, there is a full stocked bar, selling wine, sparkling, beer, cider and a non-alcoholic drinks. You are NOT permitted to bring your own alcohol to the event. All bags will be checked upon entry.
Yes. Our gourmet food partner The Providore will be onsite at the event serving up a freshly prepared menu of delicious options that include a dinner, dessert and snack menu.
You can bring your own food, but you cannot bring your own alcohol. We have a fully stocked bar at the event. All bags will be checked for alcohol at the entrance.
You will still be admitted to the screening, provided you have a valid ticket.
The films have age classifications, i.e. PG13, NC16, M18 that must be adhered to for legal reasons. Even for a PG film, for insurance purposes, children (including babies & toddlers) at this event must be 12 years or older and have a valid ticket. This event is best enjoyed with your partner or friends.

As an outdoor event, Films At The Fort is subject to prevailing weather conditions. Specifically, rain will not prohibit the screenings of films. Screenings will be cancelled only if weather conditions present a danger at Fort Canning Green at screening time or there is an unforeseen technical issue.
Patrons accept that in purchasing a ticket, they are paying for a screening that commences at approximately 7:30pm (Gates open at 5pm) at Fort Canning Green, and that weather conditions prior to the screening time and in other parts of Singapore will not result in a screening being cancelled. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night, and acknowledge that tickets will not be refunded unless a screening is cancelled by Films At The Fort due to dangerous weather conditions at screening time or an unforeseen technical issue.
In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, information will be posted on the event Facebook page and customers who purchased the tickets will be emailed directly. Please note that Singapore’s weather conditions can change rapidly and cancellations may need to occur at short notice. Ticketholders to a cancelled screening will be refunded within 14 days of the cancellation.
Fort Canning is a grass ampiptheatre.
This year, you have the option of redeeming a free cushion at the event (when you activate your free 1 month HOOQ subscription at the event). This offer is limited to 750 cushions per night. Alternatively, you can purchase a cushion for $14 at the bar (while stocks last).
Alternatively you can bring your own cushions, blankets and rugs. Out of respect for other people, you are not permitted to bring folding chairs of any kind. This is strictly enforced and even sitting at the back with a chair is not permitted. Thanks.
